Skiyaki [すきやき]
Sukiyaki is probably the best-known Japanese meat dish.
It is often cooked and eaten at home. But it is still regarded as something of a luxury.
To cook Sukiyaki, first cook thinly sliced beef a little, then add the Warishita(a broth of soy sauce, mirin, and sugar), vegetables, tofu, and shirataki and boil them all up together.
The cooked meat is dipped in a beaten raw egg before eating.
